The St. Norbert School campus is located on Walters Ave. in downtown Northbrook, IL.
Our school is a two story building that includes:
Renovated Classrooms: We are in the process of updating our classroom spaces with whiteboards, science tables, projectors and Promethean Boards. The renovations are complete in over 75% of the school, with the remaining classrooms scheduled for renovation in the near future.
Science Lab: Our science lab provides students with the opportunity to experience the scientific process using a variety of technologies including microscopes, iPads, Bunsen Burners, laptop computers and digital photography.
Computer Lab: Our computer lab is the central station for all of the technology needs of our school. Laptop carts, class sets of iPads, digital cameras, and video recorders are all maintained and updated for use in the classroom. The lab also is where our students participate in technology classes each week; engaging in classes such as robotics, publishing, and garage band,
Gymnasium: St. Norbert School gymnasium is a full court gymnasium that includes a concession stand, locker room facilities for both boys and girls, spectator stands, and a stage where our dramatic presentations take place.
Two Playgrounds: St. Norbert School has two separate playgrounds on campus. We have an enclosed pre-school playground that is connected to the pre-school classrooms as well as a larger, separate, play area for students in kindergarten through eighth grade.
Grace Hall: Our newly added lunchroom also serves as a meeting place and comfortably seats 150 people.
