Spring Sports / Roundball Registration

Spring Sports / Roundball Sign-Up - Deadline February 6th, 2017 

Registration begins for all St. Norbert  student/athletes interested in participating in spring sports:

  • Boys’ Volleyball for 5th/6th/7th/8th grade boys (season - March & April)
  • Track & Field for 4th/5th/6th/7th/8th grade girls and boys (season – April & May)
  • Roundball, Annual St. Norbert Basketball tournament, for 4th/5th/6th/7th/8th grade girls and boys (March 13th – March 19th)

Registration forms are available on the St. Norbert school website under the "Athletics” banner (http://www.stnorbertschool.org/athletic_forms).  Please download the “Spring Sports Registration Form” and send it back to school along with all fees by Monday, February 6th.  All registrations that occur after the February 6th deadline will incur a $20 late fee

It is very important that the Athletic Committee gain an accurate roster count to properly prepare for the upcoming season. Coaches will  contact their teams regarding schedules and practice times closer to the start of the season in March.  If you have any questions please contact Alex McIntosh (amcintosh@stnorbertschool.org).

Registration Form

  • Who: Coed; PreK 3 through 2nd grade
  • What: Basketball in a fun and supportive environment
  • Where: St. Norbert Gym
  • When: 6 Week Program - Saturdays in January and February (1/7, 1/14, 1/21, 2/4, 2/18 & 2/25) - 10:30-Noon
  • Why: It’s fun! Your child will be exposed to some of the basic skills of basketball and get plenty of exercise!
  • Cost: $25 for the first child and $15 for each additional child (Includes T-Shirt and All Star Pizza Party)

Concussion Management - Baseline Testing

Concussions are among the forefront of sports medicine concerns.  According to the American Medical Society of Sports Medicine (AMSSM), as many as 3.8 million concussions occur in the United States each year during competitive sports and recreational activities.

The St. Norbert Athletic Committee is recommending that your child schedule a complimentary baseline assessment (ImPACT baseline test) with the Illinois Bone & Joint Institute (IBJI).  More concussion management information can be found on the IBJI website:
