St. Norbert is a Catholic school that follows the teachings and traditions of the Church while also welcoming students from diverse religious backgrounds. It is, in fact, the celebration of this diversity that enables our students to formulate values that lead to respect for all people.
The study of the life of Christ, Sacred Scripture, the Sacraments, and Celebration of the Liturgical year are an integral part of the Religious Education program beginning in preschool and continuing through grade eight. These themes deepen as students enter junior high with the study of world religions, Catholic values, and teachings on social justice.
Students at St. Norbert are provided with the opportunity to prepare for the Sacraments of the Eucharist, Reconciliation, and Confirmation during their regular school day, and they mark important moments throughout each year with community liturgical celebrations and prayer services. These celebrations include our annual Christmas Pageant in December and Stations of the Cross during Lent.
St. Norbert School students and staff celebrate the 8:30 Mass together every Tuesday. It is through this celebration that we are able to renew and deepen our relationship with God.
