Strategic Plan
Our Strategic Planning Process
During the 2018 – 2019 school year, St. Norbert School welcomed into the community more than 40 students from Holy Cross School in Deerfield. This marked a year of transition as we blended two schools under new leadership and began positioning ourselves for transformation.
To kickstart this journey, in September 2018 we began the process of creating a five-year strategic plan aimed at growing St. Norbert School into a dynamic, Catholic institution dedicated to serving families in Northbrook, Deerfield and surrounding communities. This included a series of listening sessions and surveys of our Principal, faculty, staff, parents and Board of Advisors. We heard the hopes, dreams and must-haves needed to bring St. Norbert School into the light of the future. This feedback was instrumental in creating our five-year strategic plan. And after many iterations, our Board of Advisors unanimously approved our five-year strategic plan in May 2019.
The plan before you is the result of an intense process focused on re-imagining the future of St. Norbert School through three key priorities: Growing St. Norbert School, cultivating a vibrant and engaged community, and enhancing the SNS setting. These priorities build on the success we have had to date and charts the course for us to pursue new ideas, new possibilities and become the best version of ourselves.
