Meet Mrs. Aliferakis!

Welcome to Kindergarten! My name is Marina Aliferakis and I am so excited to be starting my second year as a kindergarten teacher at St. Norbert School. I have been a kindergarten teacher for 12 years, with a break in between to raise my daughter. I truly love teaching kindergarten and seeing the joy, curiosity, and excitement that each child brings to the classroom each day.

Kindergarten is such a special year! I love watching my students grow in confidence, discover new things, and develop a love for learning. Some of my favorite parts of teaching are sharing stories, creating books together, exploring through art projects, and making learning fun through hands-on activities. Most of all, I love getting to know each child and watching their unique personalities and talents shine.

One of the things I treasure most about teaching at SNS is being a part of a community that values faith, kindness, and compassion. I hope to create a classroom where these values are naturally reflected in our everyday experiences and where every child and family feels welcome, respected, and valued.

Outside of school, I enjoy gardening, baking, and spending time with my husband, our daughter, and our new puppy!

I am looking forward to a wonderful year in kindergarten!
