H & S Committees

H&S Committees 2018-2019

The H&S Association is comprised of many active and dedicated parent volunteers that lead and support the events and activities the organization runs each year. Both types of roles are important, both to lead and to support. We have needs in both of these areas and varied needs to fit your schedule and availability. Please see the attached contact list, which highlights open chair positions. Please reach out to the chair to help in a supporting role or contact [email protected]. Thank you, your involvement is really important to the school community!

Volunteer Requests

In addition to signing up to lead or support a H&S event or activity, ad hoc volunteer needs come up throughout the school year. These needs are typically communicated by:

•       Signup Genius request via email (e.g. lunch room, Crusader Team  Challenge, and book fair help),
•       School News email (e.g. library help),
•       Room Parents (e.g. class holiday party help), or
•       Teachers.

You can also get involved by attending one of the monthly H&S Association meetings, typically held the last Monday of each month.

Talents or Skills to Offer

If you or a loved one has any talents or skills to offer, please let us know at [email protected]. This might include photography, carpentry, heavy lifting, cooking, crafts or games with kids, or an assortment of other skills you might be able to lend should a need arise. Time, of course, is always a valuable resource that we appreciate!
