Meet Ms. Murphy!
Hi there! My name is Kierre Murphy, and I am delighted to begin my first year teaching preschool at St. Norbert and my tenth year as an educator. I began my career as a Teach For America corps member and have taught various grade levels in public and charter schools throughout Chicago and beyond Illinois. Although I have enjoyed working with students of different ages, preschool holds a special place in my heart and is truly my passion.
I earned my B.A. in English with a minor in Education from Agnes Scott College and my M.A.T. in Early Childhood Education from National Louis University. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my family, hiking, and discovering new hobbies. Currently, I am learning to crochet blankets.
