Homework Over The Weekend

7th Grade Religion - Alive in Christ Chapter 4 (pg. 102 is where the questions are)

7th Grade Social Studies - Constitution workbook Unit 9 (pg. 16 and 19...excluding the Projects and In Your Own Words sections on pg. 19)

6th Grade Social Studies - Haymarket Riot article re-write

Because I Care, Homework

7th Grade Religion:  Luke 9 & 10 quiz tomorrow.  Read it and you'll do fine.  Don't read it and you won't.

7th Grade Social Studies: Units 6 and 8 of the Federal Constitution workbook (aka the blue book) for tomorrow.  YOU DO NOT HAVE TO DO UNIT 7.  Please put your answers on a separate sheet of paper.

The test on Article 1 of the Constitution is on Thursday.  Studying would be beneficial.

6th Grade Social Studies: A lot of you already did it, but if you didn't...questions 1-6 on pg. 157 of the textbook are due tomorrow.

8th Grade Social Studies: Questions 1-4 (all parts) on pg. 498 of the textbook are due tomorrow.

6th Grade Study Skills: Lesson 35 is due Thursday.  You must re-write the sentences, not just circle the mistakes.

Happy Birthday Piero!!!!

That is all.

Homework

Is no joke.

7th Grade Social Studies - the questions from today's handout "Foundations of Freedom Chapter 2: The War for Independence" are due tomorrow.  It's a long reading with tough questions, but they had the whole period to read today, so excuses should be coldly ignored.

Have a blessed evening.

I've Got Rhythm, I've Got Music, I've Got Homework, Who Could Ask For Anything More?

7th Grade Religion - Read the second half of Luke 7 and all of Luke 8 for Monday.

7th Grade Social Studies - Units 4 & 5 of the Federal Constitution workbook...on a separate sheet of paper, as always.  This is several sections long.  It isn't hard, but don't try to do it all in five minutes either.

6th Grade Study Skills - Compete the Lesson 22 worksheet on note taking from a written source.  There is more than one right way to do this, but it doesn't mean any way you do it is right.

Have a great weekend!

Homework on the Horizon

7th Grade Religion - Read Luke chapters 5 & 6 and prepare yourself for a quiz on them.  Based on how the quizzes for the last couple of chapters have gone, I suggest reading everything twice.

6th Grade Social Studies - in the textbook, read pgs. 146-151 and answer questions 1, 3, 4 and 5 on pg. 151

7th Grade Social Studies - "We the People" - read chapter 2 and answer the review questions on pg. 20 FOR THURSDAY

There it is, now go know yourselves silly.

Homeworkin' It Out

6th grade Social Studies - Read pgs. 138-145 of the textbook and answer questions 2,3, and 4 on a sheet of looseleaf.  ALSO, complete my fabulous handwritten worksheet using the map keys and the topographical and political maps of the United States in the Atlas.  Both are due tomorrow (Wednesday)

7th grade Social Studies - Read chapter 1 of Foundations of Freedom (given as a handout) and answer the questions at the end.  This is due on Thursday, but the reading is fairly significant, so I would strongly suggest getting a head start on it tonight.

Toodles,
KTD-C

Homework Makes the Brain Work...Probably

Hello, and welcome to another year of torture!!!

Only 7th Grade Social Studies has homework for tomorrow (Tuesday) and that is Unit 1 of the Federal Constitution workbook.  Make sure it is done on a separate sheet of paper, please!

Also, all of my Social Studies grades will be contributing a news article summary every week on Fridays.  I will post a Word document detailing that assignment shortly.
