I have tests scheduled in all three grades coming up soon.  That being the case, I won't be assigning any out-of-class graded work this week...with the exception of Article Day on Friday, which will go forward as usual. 

 

7th Grade SS - Test #1 on the Bill of Rights (Amendments 1-5) will be this Friday, the 22nd.  With that in mind, the 7th grade, and ONLY the 7th grade, will not have an article due this week. 

 

7th Grade Religion - The quiz on Fr. Dan's Mass Response Memorization Project will be this Thursday, the 21st. 

 

6th Grade SS - Test #2 of the Chicago Unit (which brings the unit to a glorious end) will be a week from today, Monday the 25th. 

 

8th Grade SS - The test on the Urbanization/Industrialization/Immigration Unit will be a week from today, Monday the 25th. 

 

With all the tests out of the way, we'll have a fun Grandparent's Day and Thanksgiving Break.  Or, you know, die trying. 

 

 

7th Grade Social Studies - one-sided worksheet ("You Be the Judge") on the 4th Amendment for Wednesday.

 

All Social Studies classes have an article due on Friday. 

 

A look ahead:

 

The 7th Grade Constitution test re-take will be Friday, 11/15. 

 

The 6th Grade test on the rest of the Chicago Unit will be Wednesday, 11/20. 

 

The 8th Grade test on the Urbanization Unit will be Monday, 11/25. 

 

The 7th Grade Bill of Rights Test #1 was scheduled for 11/18, but enough kids have to re-take the Constitution Test that I don't want a bunch of kids to have to study for two tests at the same time...I'll probably push that one back to after Thanksgiving Break.
