In 7th Grade Religion the Taking-On-A-Life-Of-Its-Own Acts 11 & 12 Quiz has once again been re-scheduled, this time for Wednesday. Today we were tasked to build our blessing bags. And thank you all for contributing the materials to build with. 

 

Everything else is pretty much the same:

 

6th Grade SS Quiz tomorrow

7th Grade SS Test on Thursday

8th Grade SS Test on Friday

7th Grade Religion - I did a little polling and decided that things would not go so well if we had the Acts quiz or Mass Response re-take on Friday. So, Monday it is.  Those taking the Mass Response re-take will take the Acts quiz on Wednesday. Acts 11 & 12. (Acts 10 wasn't quizzed because in Acts 11, Peter tells the other apostles what happened in Acts 10).

 

6th Grade Social Studies Quiz - Looks pretty locked-in for Tuesday. Same format as the first United States quiz. This one is just on the southern states. 

 

7th Grade Social Studies Test - Thursday. The Founding Father Presidents, plus Quincy Adams and good ol' Andrew Jackson. 

 

8th Grade Social Studies Test - Friday. I had it planned much earlier in the week  but the 8th grade is going to be particularly busy during my early-morning SS periods this Catholic Schools Week. This one is on the bulk of WWI, which, thanks to great cinematography, might be in vogue again soon.

Because of the Science Fair presentations going on today and tomorrow, and in honor of Andrea's birthday and Ema's half birthday, I'm pushing back the Acts Quiz and Mass Response re-take until next week Wednesday (Monday being a day off and Tuesday being a Mass day). 

 

They still owe me an article in Social Studies tomorrow.  But I'm trying to be copacetic.

7th Grade Social Studies - 8th Amendment worksheet for Tuesday.  Test corrections are due Thursday for all students who want to do them.  As I told the kids on Wednesday, they need to send me an email to get the directions.  They have to demonstrate at least that much interest.

The next round of SS tests, 6th, 7th, and 8th, will be the last Thursday before Christmas Break

A lot of kids have been sick this week, and several for multiple days.  I had already told five kids that they could take the SS and Religion tests on Monday. With more out today, I've decided to move both tests to Monday for everyone. Make this Sunday a Studyin' Sunday!
